Icon5 96 Accord Coupe CD7 Problem

Hello guys,

i am the proud owner of a CD7 since thursday. i fell in love with that car
the car is in good condition but there is one problem.

below 3000RPM the car has no power and is stuttering.. i cant drive up on a hill at 0mph like usual (i have to hit the rpm to 3-4krpm and then let the clutch come)
i have "Bosch" spark plugs and i heard they are not working well with japanese cars so i will get NGK spark plugs on monday but i dont think that the problem will be solved by this. (still its better to replace the spark plugs)

clutch and transmission are fine.

did anyone of you have the same problem as well with the cd7?
i appreciate any help or suggestions

have a nice sunday guys

EX manifold cracking is common, yarde cars tend to be cracked as well. Casting itself is a thin wall light weight design. Replacement options are a header or heavy aftermarket manifold.
That air leak usually does not cause driveability problems, just noise. Verify the basics and especially verify that the timing belt is properly installed. A loose timing belt with a lot of slack acts like a 70's turbo car. No power til 3Krpm then pulls.
