Want to buy obd1 b18
Why do you need an obd1 motor? Obd2 is no different except some sensor plugs for your info.. also obd2 b's don't have the breather box, less work if you do an aftermarket catch
No, it doesn't require one. Especially if you are replacing an existing motor. Swap your obd1 sensors to obd2 motor. You can even do this with d series stuff to b. If you really want you can even run the d dizzy but only one bolt will fit and it will leak oil. Hell, itll run with a d series ecu even, my EG came with a 99 b18b1 but still all obd1 everything. Stock harness. STOCK ECU even. Lol dunno wtf they were thinking.
Map, tps are same afaik. Use your obd1 dizzy and alt. Shrug. Just thought I'd point out the possibilities in case you didn't know.
if you have a pick n pull near you I'm sure you can score one on the cheap either way. I can get one of these blocks any day for $200 Canadian or so plus core. I have two out back but I'm sure shipping would be prohibitive..both I think are obd2 but came out of obd1 cars.
IF you need obd1 components I may be able to help you, I still have some components from mine before I out in the b17 / can easily source them from local j/y
