Help Please
I bought a b18b for my 1993 si and the motor mounts do not fit I was wondering what kind of mount do I have to use to make it fit because it is not an obd1 motor it is an obd2? The motor came with everything to make the switch over but it is an obd2 and I want to make it an obd1 so what parts do I need to buy to make it obd1. My friend said that all I need is an obd1 ecu and a new distibutor. I'm not sure if that will be all that I need. The reason I want it to be obd1 is because it will be turbocharged and will need get it turned.
Thank you
Thank you

Re: Help Please (eg6tc)
well if you want to make it completely obd1 then you need the obd1 harness of course... if the mounts don't fit its because your stock ones won't line up right with the b series,
you can try the stock b series mounts or buy some aftermarket ones made for a b series to fit into an eg....
now i did the opposite of you and made my obd1 motor obd2 and it sucked... the other way around is supposed to be simple, but yeah dizzy, ecu, maybe altenator, but especially need an obd1 harness... dunno if you have that
someone will add on i'm sure but hope this helps some

Re: Help Please (eg6tc)
Let me know if this helps, but I found it while searching. It is from Sport Compact Car Magazine and actually seems to have some good info as well. Link.

Re: Help Please (eg6tc)
you need mounts/rear bracket, axles from 94+ integra. repin the dizzy for 0bd1. 0bd1 LS ecu, swap out the injectors for obd1. use your obd1 engine harness.
