Default Buyer's remorse: What can buyer do if a CA seller didn't "SMOG" the car

Bought used car...what if seller didn't smog, do I have any recourse? Having probs because ABS light is on. help! I thought I recalled that it was possible to get 30 day extension for smog and a permit you can put in window? Does this sound doable to anyone?

Seller is responsible for smog in CA, you can sue and get your money back if the car won't pass.

If I recall correctly, ABS light doesn't affect the Smog test. A quick Google search seems to confirm this. Check out the last question at this link
