Default B16A2 with PR4/LS rods CTR pistons

I recently bought a B16A2 complete motor. Also I got a B18A1 short block that was going to be LS/VTEC. It has PR4/LS rods with I believe CTR pistons. They are marked STD UM20529. I would like to use the pistons in the B16A2 motor I have since they are new. Since the pistons are already pressed on the LS rods, can I put those into the B16A2? I have a B18A1 crank I can use too if need be. Thanks for any input!

You cannot use those pistons and the LS rods in your B16A. You can use the pistons and your B16A rods, so you will have to press the pins out of the current PR4 rods and then press the new pistons/pins on/into your B16A rods.

Deck height between the B16A and B16B (CTR) engines is different. The CTR/B16B shares the same deck height as the B18 engines, and is taller. This means the rods are too long, and if you use that rod/piston combo as is on your B16, you will have piston to valve contact.
