has anyone here crossthreaded a AN fitting? i have slightly crossthreaded a 10 AN fitting on my valve cover and i would like to see if i can fix it with a die but im not sure what size to use.
Can you post a picture of it? I've actually had a lot of success in the past just taking a razor blade and running it through the threads to clear them out and straighten.

It doesn't hold fluid so I'd probably fix it with a file or a 10an thread die if you can find one and just be really careful threading it back together.

You want a 7/8" - 14 SAE die. Search amazon for "7/8" 14 SAE die" and you'll find a bunch.
