1992 honda civic Dx 1.5L
Recently replaced head/head gasket, fuel filter and only maybe 2+ months ago my spark plugs, wires, distributor and its cap. I replaced the head and it had to sit before I got the timing done at a shop due to funds (or lack thereof) and when got it back, went and got oil changed and probably around a week later started hearing sputtering and noticed high idle (1500) so I replaced my fuel filter and cleaned out my throttle body but am still hearing sputtering as soon as I start the car at idle and when I hold it at 2000. It doesnt have a check engine light and seems to run fine besides up high incline hills (I have stopped driving it since I noticed the sputtering) so im unsure what to do next. I've sunk a lot of money into this car already and need help diagnosing this myself if possible.
in past year replaced radiator, entire exhaust system, ECU, IAVC, Battery, Crankshaft and Harmonic Balancer. I have pretty limited tools but can borrow some from friends if I know exactly what I need.
