The door won't shut and when I pull on the handle nothing happens in the door. What can I do to get it closed and what could my problem be? What do I do to know what my problem is? Thanks

 

This was actually happening to me in my del sol as well. Make sure the latch part on the body of the car is intact and facing in a direction that will insert into the door properly.

 

If the latch has been thrown to the closed position while the door is open, you will need to use a screwdriver or something to pull on the latch piece while you move the door handle so it unlatches. Then you should be able to close the door.
