89 Honda Accord LXi Engine Code 6 not fixed by ETC sensor, sending unit or switch
Hi all, first time posting on here. Here goes nothin. Bought an 89 Accord sedan LXi. Engine code 6 led blinks on ECU. CEL used to be on all time with hard start. Changed out ETC after finding another post about the light blinks and diagnosing, etc. Now starts right up, gets up to temp and idles fine without CEL coming on. Drive for 1.5 mins and boom, on comes CEL with same 6 blinks. Replaced the temp sending unit next, temp reading same. no change to CEL status (off at start, comes on when driving). Replaced the radiator cooling fan switch and it came on great the first startup, now fan does not come on. no blown fuses. IDK what to do next. It doesnt overheat, only problem now is that the battery light comes on. Help would be appreciated. TIA!

what parts did you replace ?
it's possible the ecu is bad if the wiring is known to be good

The engine temperature control sensor, the temperature sending unit and the cooling fan switch for the radiator. Not 100% on wiring for the ETC sensor or cooling fan. I assume the ETC is good because light used to come on at start and stay on but now it doesnt come on until the engine is up to temperatire and driven for about a minute.
