Crank, tdc sensor issues
So I have a 1990 Honda Accord EX and it keeps throwing the codes for the throttle position sensor the crank sensor and the top dead center sensor is there any way to adjust or diagnose issues with all these?
You can use a Honda manual from auto parts store to diagnose most anything electrical on a Honda. A couple of the things (TDC sensor and Crank Sensor) are inside the distributor. You should carefully check for loose or butchered wiring between the distributor and engine. Somebody might have forced a connector off and snapped a wire. If you find lots of oil in the distributor cap, it might have fouled both of those crucial sensors, and you'll need a new distributor. The TPS is a sensor is located on the throttle body housing, just above where the throttle cable connects to it. Again, wiring issues can make that sensor appear to be bad. I hear of a lot of Honda owners replacing the TPS, but on my 93, that part is nearly 25-years old and still works perfectly. You will need to determine why so many sensors are coding at the same time on yours.
