Default Distributor sensor polarity matters?

I was reading online about the PR4 ECU pinout for the B swap...

It says:B10 & B12 / 15 & 16 - Crank Sensor (in Distributor)C2 / 9 - CYL Sensor (in Distributor)C1 / 1 - CYL Sensor (in Distributor)C4 / 10 - TDC Sensor (in Distributor)C3 / 2 - TDC Sensor (in Distributor)

The guy didn't say which is signal and which is ground. Does the polarity matters? Those sensors are coils right, if you swap the polarity the voltage will be reversed....
