even running the auto start for 20 minutes and the driving 6 miles on HWY ....it barely climbs 2 bars on the temp guage and semi warm air from vents......Honda dealer says normal?...outside temp says -10 cel.........does this sound about right?......I had a 2013 civic and at this temp running out 8 to 10 minutes gave up a lot of heat?...am I asking to much from the brand new CRV......truck kept in unheated garage

I can confirm this is happening to my 2015 CRV as well. Very similar situation, turn it on, idle for 5 to 10 mins, temperature gauge won't budge, driving on the highway, temperature gauge will reach 1/2 way to middle (1/4 to H). Took it to the dealership yesterday, they say it's "normal". Their explanation was newer vehicles these days are very efficient at cooling the engine and its better for the engine to run cold than hot. Very frustrating, I can buy that a colder engine is better than a overheated engine but there's still an optimal temperature range for all engines to operate, outside of this range is still not ideal. Having trouble finding a solution online, help??
