Hello, New to this site. Ive been researching trying to fix my no start issue.

I bought a 1993 Accord and a wrecking yard motor was installed but hasnt been started since install. It will crank fine but will not start. This is what I have done to it.

Replaced timing components, I double and triple checked and timing is correct. new distributor, new plugs and wires,new main relay/ I do have spark, I checked pressure on fuel rail and has good pressure, Check for power on each injector lead and thats good. I tested pulse with a noid light and this is where I am unsure of. It get pulse after about 7-10 turn over when cranking. Im I suppose to get pulse soon as I crank? Not sure if my ECU is out? Please and help greatly appreciated.

I just tried cranking this morning to see if noid light would come on and it came on rite away bright. I shut key off and tried again the it went back to faint but after about 5 time motor turned over.

 

check compression, make sure the engine is healthy

 

I did check compression and all pretty even and good.I shot starting fluid into the throttle body and didn't attempt to fire which lead to timing. I double check timing and all is correct. I do get spark but not want to start

 

if comp is good then the mech timing is good, maybe try another ecu

 

Got another ecu and fired rite up. Thanks for replies
