My daughter just acquired a 2006 pilot EX and I'd like to have remote start installed. Can anyone recommend a brand and/or model that is compatible with this particular model? Yes the car is older but its winter in New England. Thanks

 

Does it need to be remote start only, or would you rather that be a feature within a security system?

How much are you willing to spend?

I'm partial to Clifford and/or Prestige, myself.


You're much better off asking a local mobile audio/video/security shop than waiting for feedback here.

 

Thanks for the quick reply. I have been looking locally but all complain that the pilot is "too old". Some shops even turned it down.
And I'm not keen to self installation. That's why I posted here. I'll continue to search and look and inquiry locally. Thanks again.

 

If I can get an alarm with remote start installed into a 1992 Acura, you should be able to get one for an '06 Pilot.

Not sure why they're telling you, "it's too old."
