My sons 93 honda civic started losing power when he was driving on the freeway last night and ended up dying when he got off freeway. We initially thought maybe it was an alternator problem, but we tried jumping the car this morning and it is turning over, but not catching, almost like its not getting fuel?? how can i check if this is a fuel pump problem or maybe the ecu?

 

Do u hear fuel pump prime when u turn key from off to ON, not off to ign. Off to ON.
