2001 Honda Accord Multiple Issues
Replaced alternator a couple of months ago, it's been running good.
Recently, after market radio stopped working in a crazy way, it would come on but not actually work, not a biggie though.
Last night, suddenly, tail lights go out, dash lights go out, shift indicator, turn signal indicator, high beam, brake lights and turn signals all still work, all other electrical seemed fine.
On advice of a friend, took terminal lead off for 5 minutes. After that, had to use override to shift out of park, tach and speedometer stopped working, shift indicator not working, power windows not working, and I'm not confident it's shifting down into first or up into 4th. Brake lights, turn signals, head lights, cruise, all still working. I need an idea of what to try fixing please.

Yes, from Advance. It has a lifetime warranty btw. Now, I HAVE gone through every single fuse, found a couple that, according to their legend, shouldn't have affected anything, but changing them out brought all the lights, plus the tach and speedometer, back working. HOWever now the parking lights won't go out! The warning tone dings, I've manipulated the light switch with nothing improving it. I had to disconnect the battery to keep it from running down. I'm going to systematically go through the fuses today (it had gotten dark) to see which ones put the lights out. But anyone with a short-cut answer gets my eternal gratitude.
SO I found the fuse number 10 passenger side (license plate/small lights), removed that and the lights went out. I'd love to know how to fix this issue. The light switch/high beam apparently works, but these pesky running lights will not turn off. Any ideas?
