s2000 maximum amount to skim head

engineering company have skimmed 18 thou off head?

That's a lot... have a Cometic head gasket made that is .018" thicker than stock to make it up. Problem solved.

Just make sure your P2V clearance is good. And like JR said, you can always get a thicker aftermarket gasket that can make up for the difference.

Also note that your compression ratio is going to be higher with that much milled off the head, unless you compensate with a thicker gasket.
