Default Suggestions Needed: K98311's 350-400bhp D15B7 Prospective Build Options

okay heres the deal. before yougive me **** for not using the search engine i HAVE!
so heres the plan
d15b7 block
jdm d15b crank
d16 forged rods
pistons unknown but hear if use vitaris it will stick out the top but something forged
y8 headgasket
arp head studs
b7 head
titanium springs and retainers
a6 cam if it will help in the build with boost
adjustable cam gear
550cc injectors and 255lph pump
My plan is to boost this new motor as im already running 8 psi on a stock b7 and am bored with the lack of power. i want to make 350-450 hp or as much as the fuel system can handle. i would use stock crank but cant find rods that will work for what i want. anyone know what piston i should use? and keep in mind this will be a super cheap build. just want to show people that b7s can make real power and i live the broke life. i have a brand new SHO so this isnt my dd. anyone see any problems with the build plan or have any advice? thanks!

Take that b7 head off if you want to make power

also I dont think D16 rods will work You need something custom, could be wrong been out of the D series game for way too long, but I believe the d16 rods are too long for your d15.

hate to crush your dream but D16's are super cheap dont over complicate it

Why not just ditch the b7 all together? Get a z6. Plenty of parts for those and make good power.

I'm the typical guy thats going to say, save your money stop trying to get instant gratification and eventually go B or K and you'll be happy all motor. or if you really want 450 go B20v or GSR on boost you'll make it easy af

I really don't want to do a swap. I ******* HATE wiring and you cant find a z6 like for can a b7 for 50 bucks. a swap is so much work that ill never want to go through. a z6 wont need new cv axles because d series but the damn wiring is my issue. unless its plug n play its a no go

Then be prepared for custom parts as the d15b7 had very little support for turbocharging without some customization that is more expensive than 3 swaps

I have the d15b crank got it for free. from my understanding the d16 internals Will fit then it will be as cheap as a z6 build

If you are prepared to spend more for making less you can build the D15. At least get a z6 head.
D15 has better rod stroke and might eventually rev higher and keep some power to the top due to better bore stroke than the B16. Altho you cannot replace the low mid, high rpm might be on par with D16 MAYBE.
350 to 450 whp targets are very different for the D series imo. You MAY hit 350 whp without aftermarket cams but usable 450whp will get very difficult on a tight budget.
If it makes you happier we had some poeple build D14 here in europe. Back in the no youtube ages

Youll only need vtec signal its easy for the z6 head. Also youll need custom pistons with 27 to 27.5mm (zealautowerks.com) compression height. I dotn know if D16 rods fit on the d15crank tho.
If they fit you wont break the bank with custom pistons. On the other hand you may get custom rods to use with vitara pistons with 136mm rods (zealautowerks.com) i believe custon pistons is better route
