My 1993 civic will not start. It dose spin over but will not fire. I changed the main relay but did not help also i dont hear the fuel pump either. I was going to replace it but instead of the normal 12.5 volts going to it there was only 0.5 so wtf is wrong with it please someone help me. Turn key on but don't crank. The oil and battery lights should come on. The check engine light should come on then go out. The main relay should click on when the key is first turned, and click off when check engine goes out. (During the time it is on, fuel pump would run).

you replaced the main relay with a new one or known working unit ?

If so test voltage for the fuel pump wires at the relay, hopefully someone can tell you the colors

if good there start the pump or relay work your way back or forward and see if you can find a break or test voltage at any connectors

did you check for spark ? can you here the fuel pump prime?

if you in central Florida i got a pump you can test with

gl

Sounds like bad power capacitors in the ECU. Try another computer.

ok im a little buzzed but i am gonna try to help .....

before when it would prime after 45 secs that was before the new relay ?

I gonna llok for my helms to see if I can figure out which wires go to the pump from the relay so you can test at the relay to see if you getting 12v there

how did you check for voltage at the pump ? did you remove the connector from the pump and test ? or was still connected ?

I think you should be able to run wires straight from the battery to the pump to test... but you might want to wait for someone else to chime in before you try that

how many miles on the pump ? original ?
