Gas leaking from the small right angle fitting, almost looks like a critter has chewed on it. My question, will a Dorman fuel connector work to repair and if so, what size do I need 5/16 or 3/8. Any advice will be appreciated

 

If it is the plastic line, there is a dorman tool kit for that. It has the tool to properly press fittings on to plastic lines, with a bunch of different fittings, and hoses. Its about 250$. I have the kit. You could n-rig something, but I wouldn't recommend it.

 

The hole is on the fitting, right where it make a 90' turn. See picture. This is a Dorman quick disconnect fuel fitting that looks like it. Just need to know if it would attach to the fuel pump male fitting and if so, what diameter fitting would I need, 5/16 or 3/8. Thanks

 

yes. Those are all pritty universal. If you are not sure, just get one of each, and return what you do not need. The kit is doorman 800-300. 800-301 is just the tool. They will be in the kit. I havn't had any luck getting those on without it. You might somehow? Good luck!

 

One more thing. Havnt seen it on any other yet, but saturn l's get a hairline crack in the sending unit. Probably going to want to get a good eye on it to be sure. Have someone work the key for you.
