Valvesprings and retainers... ITR or Crower??
I have a set of Crower 63402A cams with Skunk2 cam gears that I am going to put in my car. I want to upgrade my valvesprings and retainers. I want to know if I put ITR intake valvesprings on the intake side and move my stock intake valvesprings to the exhaust side, and put either ITR or Crower retainers in, would that be sufficient? I plan on getting my ecu reprogrammed with a higher rev limit (somewhere between 8700 and 9200 rpm). Crower says that my stock valvesprings will be fine as long as I have the stock rev limit. If I can rev to 8700-8800 rpm using ITR valvesprings then I will do that. That will fit my budget a lot better that the Crower valvesprings and retainers. Any advice will be appreciated.
ITR retainers are the same as stock so no point in them.
How do you like your crower cams????? I was thinking about going with CTR's in my 95 GSR but let me know
