Default COOLANT

i am having issue with over heating in idle and stop lights, i changed the thermostate and coolant.

Unplug the fan switch on the thermostat housing and put a jumper in the plug. The fan should now start immediately when you turn the key on. If it does not, check the fan motor, relay, and fuse.

Test drive with the fan running all the time. If it does not overheat, replace the fan switch.

thanks for the information, i did place jumper cable and the fan turned on, i let the car run and it reach the operating temperature with the sensor connected and the fan came on but the fan stays on for a few secunds and it turns off and the needle moves the H.

Test with the fan running all the time.

That's how you know if the switch is turning it off too soon, or if something else is wrong.
