I'm a long time Honda-Tech forums browser, but this is my first post. I usually just enjoy threads, pictures, builds, and jump off. My PY ITR #01-0406 was stolen just north of Denver Colorado on August 18th. Up until the night she was stolen, she had 85k on the clock, all original, and 100% clean and complete. I've been doing everything I can think of to figure out a way to find her, I spend hours of each day doing something... driving around, sifting through ads for sale of cars or parts, and asking new people to keep their eyes peeled for sightings. I humbly ask, if anyone happens across what looks like my ITR/Badge/Vin.. please contact me. I love my ITR dearly, and I am hurting.

Saw your post on Craigslist last month. Sorry to hear. I’m only a a couple hours north of you. Haven’t seen or heard anything....... Denver has become such a shithole for hondas.

 

My ITR swapped Civic was stolen when I first moved to Boulder a few years back. Had a kill switch and all. Good luck man, I don't miss Colorado at all

 

Just saw this. I take it there's no news? Bloody lovely Teggie too. Car thieves are wastes of oxygen. In my neck of the woods there are far fewer "professional" scum targeting cars like ours(they go for BMW's, even "boring" everyday cars and the like to break for spares, which is much more lucrative and less likely to be caught). Instead you get the opportunists and "joyrider" scum. Their latest thing is that if they can't take a car, in their jealous never amount to anything single celled "minds", they'll pour petrol under the bonnet/hood and burn the car out. I know of two R's that's happened to in the last few years. Utter scum the lot of them and I hope they all die screaming. Now I'd be a centrist European in political leanings*, but I would happily pull the lever on the rope around the neck of car thieves(and burglars) and send them to oblivion.

I genuinely hope you are one of the lucky ones and get heR back DD81. Regardless don't let these mouth breathing scum win by taking it too hard to heart. You're already winning and by a bloody long way, by being a worthwhile member of the human race and not a low life car thieving scumbag.

Thanks for all of the kind words and interest that's been expressed, I appreciate it. I wish I could say I have good news, but unfortunately it's been a full 2 month since she was taken, and I have nothing. I'm hoping she turns up one day, be it tomorrow or a year from now, and I can make her right again.

May I ask when and where it was stolen from? Was it parked in a garage? Stolen over night?

So awful. I hope it shows up.

 

That's a tragedy that even after all this time. This is still happening. Hate logging on and seeing ish like this.
