Denso alternator in ITR
Sup fellas. I've done my due diligence and searched the forums but I keep on finding conflicting information (in older threads) about fitment and/or clearance issues. Any ITR guys here using Denso alternators on their B18C5 without any problems?

Re: Denso alternator in ITR
Denso and Showa were both OEM radiators for Integras. The difference is one of the fan mounts does not mount to the other. Swap fans with the proper one, and you'll be fine.
I read radiator, not alternator, sorry all!

Re: Denso alternator in ITR
From all the pictures I've seen and other bits of information on the internet, in addition to the pulley being different it also seems that the shaft is different between ITR (Mitsu) and on-ITR alternators (Denso) as well as the placement of the main power terminal. Thanks guys!
(Pics for reference: #1 Mitsu and #2 Denso. Notice the placement of the main power terminal)

OEM ITR in Japan had a Denso.
OEM ITR in US had a MItsubishi.
Both produced less amps than the regular Integra unit (85amps vs 90amps).
BTW: You can also get an OEM P73 Mitsubishi unit re-manufactured by Denso if you want. Denso Part# 210-4190
