My son put diesel fuel in my 2002 Odyssey. Anyone have any suggestions on how to drain the diesel from the tank? Is there a drain plug in the tank for the 2002's. I tried looking online and every vehicle is different. Keep in mind we are not mechanically savy. Our mechanic said we can try to drain the diesel ourselves and see how it runs after we put gas in it, but we realize it still may end up in the shop. Just trying to save some money since I just lost my job Friday.

 

You're going to have to find a way to pump the diesel out of the tank, as there isn't a drain plug on the tank itself. Get a length of hose and try siphoning out the fuel. Not the most fun, but it should work.
