My 2006 CRV LX has starting problems yet the battery is new and the alternator tested good. How do I determine if the fuel pump is dying? I do not have engine surges or spluttering, nor loss of power at speed. It is not consistent with the car being hot or cold either.

I seriously doubt it would be a fuel pump.


Hows the maintenance on it? Could be a throttle body is clogged or something in that area from the PCV valve coating it with oil


Are there any check engine lights on?
