Erratic idle and stall
First, I had no start issues (cold or hot-took 3-15 turns on the ignition). So I bought a new dizzy off eBay - it got rid of the problem and it ran decent for like 2-3 weeks although timing was like 2 degrees off from what I was told.
Now it started with the rpm dropping/not moving as I hit VTEC, then speedo dropping occasionally as I'm driving (about 40mph). Then the erratic idling during stops -no stalls. Till recently it started stalling so I changed out to a second new dizzy since first was from ebay and read a lot of negative reviews about them. Rpm is now smooth on VTEC or on accel, but jumps around every time I slow down or stop, usually stalls.
I turned up the IAC **** so it idles higher so it doesnt stall on me. Although I still rev here and there to keep it from dropping low
Also during stops or slow downs, my radio will turn off and on as my idle drops, all my cluster lights like srs and CEL dim as my idle fluctuates. Speedo will drop to 0 as I slow down. Car came with an JDM? ITR ecu and can't seem to read codes.
I just did a rebuild and I'm sure timing isn't right, and also isn't dyno tuned yet.
Cleaned out the iacv. Seemed slllllightly better but didnt fix. Basically still new starter, alternator and battery.
Anyone? Any ideas? Would dyno and timing fix it?
