99 Civic D16Y7 Cranks But Doesnt Start.

just did a motor swap, plugged in all the wires and tried starting it. it cranks but doesnt have spark/power to the distributor.

Check the ECU ground wires on the thermostat. Easy to forget those when R&R engine. When you turn the key on but don't crank, does the check engine light come on then go out?

Sounds like a coil pack or ignition control module in the distributor
