Default Honda Ecu Reset civic obd2 JDM

My Civic d15z7 p2j-003 ecu shows 2 codes when SCS connector is jumped. One is Iat, and a ELD code. The check engine light blinks only when SCS connector is jumped. There isnt a check engine light when connector isnt jumped. Are these codes stored in the ECU? Is there a way to erase them?

The ECU stores codes in RAM, so cutting the power will erase any stored codes. With the key off, disconnect the battery or pull the "BACK UP" fuse under the hood. Leave it off for 10 seconds or more then re-connect. When no codes are stored the CEL will light up steady with the SCS jumpered.

Using an OBDII scanner to delete the codes is another option it doesn't have the side effect of erasing the radio clock and station memory.
