Can't Get Freon In After New Compressor Added

Mechanic installed new AC Compressor in 2000 Honda Accord SE. But, can't get freon in so still blowing hot air. Any idea what he should do to fix. Thanks for helping me.

Did you pull a vacuum on the system before trying to fill?

could be the valve core is bad or you have a big enough leak that it simply vents out.....like mike said, try to pull a vacuum, see if it holds
