Air conditioning compressor died and shot metal shavings through the system
Dear Honda Forum:
The AC compressor died on my 2000 Civic. I was told by my nearby Honda Dealership that when the compressor died that it shot metal shavings throughout the AC system. I know that I need to replace the compressor. Is there a way to clean out the metal shavings or do I need to replace other components as well?
Also how do I replace the other components?
Thanks a bunch,
Scott
