Default D15B7 in my 88 civic

I did some research and I'm pretty sure the b15b2 was the original motor from the 88 civic DX's but mine has a D16B7 and i couldn't find much information on them at all, Was wondering if ya'll could help me with what the d16 came from and if its a good block to build on or not. Also where would the brand name for/on the headers be placed (I'm curious what exhaust is on it).
As you can tell I just bought this not to long ago and its also my first car. Anyways all advice welcome thank you very much. I know what year its from now!!! 92-95 dx civic

Probably best to post pics of what you got because I can't tell if you have obtained some poor information or you have fat thumbs/fingers.
