I have a b16A sirll with LS low comp. Pistons making my ratio 8:58:1 i did a comp. Test today and got 130 in all 4 cylinders. I want too know if thats too low or is it ok due to the fact of having low comp. Pistons

 

That's fine health-wise if you got the same result across all 4 cylinders, consistency is what matters. I think that's a highly unnecessarily low compression ratio though.

8.5:1 pistons on a 1.6L engine sounds painful to me...

 

Yea compression test was 130 all across and i figured it would be ok bt i jus thought 130 was too low.
And yea and kinda regret getting such low comp. Pistons bt owell my original pr3 pistsons ringlands broke frm sitting too long and i felt LS pistons were safer for now.
