So one day I was driving and started to see steam and realized the gauge was going up. Pull over to see I was spilling coolant. Made it home on water and found that my heater hose burst near the block. Replaced that and coolant while bleeding a couple times. Temps are fine but I do not get heat at all. Thanks.

 

Check the first 2 most obvious things.

1. is the heater control actually working, and is it set on heat at the valve.

2. is coolant making it through the heater core? Just check if the hoses are getting hot on both sides, or if one stays cool compared to the other, same idea as the radiator. If someone used stop-leak crap at some point, it can easily clog a heater core.

 

Thanks. I've been thinking it could be the heater core. I just been putting off looking at it. Hopefully it's just clogged there because otherwise the coolant flows. I hope it's not too much of a hassle.
