Default engine failure while driving

Hey,
lately I've been having issues with my car turning off while driving at anything above 60km/h which isn't really that much.
First the tachy will show revs bobbing up and down, car will start to sputter and then the engine will eventually shut off if I don't either put my clutch in or slow down immediately
Car also feels like it has no power, it sounds very whiney and leaned out almost. doesn't accelerate like it should be
It's also a bitch to get it to crank over in the first place, another recent problem
I just replaced the main fuel relay, distributor, and fuel pump. timing belt 500km ago as well
I was having a similar issue earlier but I came to find out that my alarm was faulty so i had it removed completely and it seemed to sort the issue for a while but now I cant seem to work it out

does anyone have any ideas???

are you absolutely 100% sure that the timing was set right when you changed the belt? was it doing this before you changed the timing belt? did it start right after you did it?

any check engine lights? do the revs bounce as its in gear and youre giving it throttle? what does it do when you crank it?

seems like were all broken records in this forum lately saying this but the first thing to look at is your timing.

when you replaced the distributor are you 100% sure you put it back in the same spot on the head? if you move that youre changing timing.

Sounds like a Bad ignitor at first read. Did you replace the ignitor along with the distributor? Wouldn't hurt to swap it with the old one. Any time I have seen the Tach bounce its been the ignitor.
