I had my car in the mechanic to fix a couple of things and i took the chance and ask him to adjust valve clearance since it wasn't done at least for 50.000km (when i bought the car). By the way i'm talking about a Civic 1.6iVT with a B16A1. The car is pretty stock, only mods are catalytic and air resonator off. Sparks plugs were changed too with some NKG BKR6E-N-11.
Today i picked up the car but it has some issues. Something weird with idle. Its rough and i feel the engine kinda shaking, both in cold and hot. In addition, since theres no air resonator, before, when i floored it at very low rpm i heard the typical "woooooooo" for a while, now theres almost no noise at all, it sounds like it has the air resonator. I didn't have the chance to talk with him yet but i doubt he mounted any resonator. In better case maybe he cover the open hole, i don't know... But my bet are valves being too tight and not sucking enough air? Can this be possible to a level that could cause this whole difference in sound? Now i'm really afraid to run the car this way.
Performance wise i will be honest and i really can't tell. The car performs well, but since i drove another car for a while, i loose the perception about the perfomance of this one. The same with the brakes. I donīt want to induce anyone in error but it feels the car is braking worse. Donīt know if itīs because i already was used to the other car or could be related with the other issues. But one thing iīm sure, the idle is rough, engine is shaking and it doesnīt make induction sound like before.
I will talk with him tomorrow but i would like to know your opinion.

Best to ask him mate.Find out what else he did they maybe causing this but probably adjusted the valves wrong and needs to be re-done.The plugs look like they are the correct ones.
