i live in mn and since i'm too cheap to go anywhere for spring break, i'll be working on my car the whole time instead. more fun that way anyways....

i'm expecting temperatures to be around freezing, maybe higher though. i know you're not supposed to do a valve clearance adj when the motor is warm, but is it possible for it to be too cold?

u are supposed to do valve adjustments when your motor is cold. doing it while warm will throw off measurements. metal expands when warm. The only thing that sucks with working on a car in cold weather is that knuckle busters hurt a hell of a lot more when its cold.

yes i realize it shouldnt be done warm but i'm asking if theres harm in doing it "too cold"

it shouldnt do any damage unless your oil freezes or something , it should be perfectly fine.
