Clutch Problems?
When I push the clutch in while driving to switch gears my car dies instantly reverse and first are fine maybe because I'm giving it gas? I'm pretty sure it's the pressure plate but I thought I'd bleed the clutch before I started removing the tranny and before I bled it the clutch pedal was still soft and floppy until the clutch was pushed about 20-25% of the way in. After I bled it (which I'm 80% sure I was doing it right) it was so soft literally felt like butter when I pushed it in didn't pull itself back at all. (Would've tried to continue bleeding but was almost out of brake fluid)
Can anyone confirm if it's my pressure plate that's bad and also why my clutch pedals so soft?

A stock Civic clutch is always quite soft. If you can put in gear with the engine running, then release the pedal and drive off, the clutch is OK. Stalling would be a problem with the engine.
There is a spring on the pedal to help it return to the up position. That spring may be broken or missing on your car.
