Clutch pedal firmness?
What causes one clutch pedal to be firmer then another?
Two exact same clutches in the exact same car, however one has a noticably firmer clutch pedal then the other. Is it fluid level, wear, or pedal adjustment?
One thing that I noticed was that the other ITR that had the softer clutch pedal...the clutch did most of the engaging at the last 1/3 of clutch pedal travel (when releasing the clutch pedal), the car almost didn't move at all during the first 2/3 of releasing the clutch pedal. Is this normal cause my ITR starts to move at 1/4 (probably even less than that) of clutch pedal release?

Pressure plates usually make the difference.
One car could have an older spring (therefore easier to engage) on the clutch pedal itself.

I noticed that on my friend's GS-R too. His catches lower and requires more effort.
While mine catches higher and feels like I'm pushing air.

I replaced my clutch fluid and the pedal firmed up. Maybe the other cars fluid is old/toast?
Edit for spelling....

Re: Clutch pedal firmness? (Soup ****)
Air bubbles would make the clutch pedal softer. Mine is firmer and the other ITR is practically brand new (2001 with 14K miles).
