Default 89 Civic 1.5L D15b2 no spark/ not distributor

Hi. I have a 89 wagon 1.5L D15b2 with throttle body that just died while driving. It has no spark, but it is not the distributor. Since this issue is usually inside the distributor, I swapped out the distributor with a brand new spare I had. No difference. I will list what I have checked and tested so it will avoid questions which I have already addressed.
Timing belt is good and did not skip. Timing is correct.
Bench tested the original distributor. All components are within spec.
Swapped distributor for new one. No spark.
Power is getting to the distributor.
Checked fuel injectors and power to them. Good.
Fuel pump is functional.
Main relay is working properly and pressurizes the system.
The ECU had only one code (blinks) and it was #1 and that is Oxygen sensor, and has no bearing on this issue. I could easily think it is the ECU and buy one, but it is seldom the problem. Is there a sensor or relay in the circuit that might be the issue. What am I missing. The original service manual is not precise and not helpful. Could somebody list the possibilities that it may be and I will check them. Thank you, Eric

ooohh looks like youve been looking all over the place to find your problem thats good ^_^

lets see if we can find your problem
first of all how are you checking to see if your getting spark or not?
are you taking the spark plug out and with it still connected to the spark plug wire
turning the motor over to see if you see spark?
are you only checking the wires for spark by the old screw driver trick and a ground location?
or are you taking the dizzy cap off and checking for spark at the coil?
you say the dizzy is getting power so that coil should be sparking

try these 3 test and let me know what you come up with
hope you get it fixed man

I got the car up and running today. The brand new spare distributor was non functional and threw me off my game. Although my original coil came up to spec when testing primary and secondary, I bought a new one and installed the original distributor. I just replaced that coil three months ago. Stay away from the TPI brand. I went with a lifetime warranty coil from Autozone. Oem Honda coils are out of my price range.
The moral of the story is: Even when your coil tests well, It doesn't mean ****. Thanks, Eric
