Assistance needed: H23a blue top ECU problems
Hey all!
This build has been a couple years in the making and I'm almost there! I need your help. Here's my setup. 1990 crx with a h23a blue top swap and a b16a trans. Obd1 ECU p28. Diagnosed that my injectors were not working. I swap ECU for another p28 and still no injector pulse. So I swapped back the old p28 and got a new map, still nothing. So by mistake i swap ECU again and forget to install the chip in there and vroum! Car starts. Put back the chip, nothing. I'm really puzzled here. Is there a sensor that could cause the ECU to not want the engine to start? When it's starts on limp mode it idles at 2100 rpm and the headers become cherry red after 5 min of running. I have yet to check my timing with a timing light, could that be the cause?
