why did my engine bay fuse box wiring harness connectors melt in my 98 honda civic?
it grounded against metal. Let me guess...you attempted to wire tuck it and the wires got pinched up against metal.
No actually i didn't attempt to tuck my wires. I think when i was changing my ignition switch the wires must've hit metal somewhere and melted the connectors but I'm not completely sure.
that's why you remove the negative terminal of the car battery any time you are working with electrical wiring. Most likely, one of the constant +12VDC wires came in contact with metal for sure. It's either the white, black/yellow or white/black....10 AWG wires.
Where my ignition switch is right? because i replaced my ignition switch, and my ignition relay, and the ignition fuse. the a-4 did blow that's why i replaced it if that helps any, but I'm only getting headlights, dome lights, emergency lights, and my key sensor. I'm still not getting a click or anything when i turn my key though.
