Diagnostic Question: TPS Sensor not reading on Hondata with Engine Running
ok so I just boosted my 97 gsr car ran perfect before I started and now I'm having problems with my tps... I'm running a s300v3 p28 when I have the engine off and key on on the smanager dash I'm looking at the tps % I push the gas pedal and it shows my throttle position do a clean sweep from 0-100% then when I start the engine and give it gas it doesn't show any percentage change sometimes if I give it a quick jab to the gas pedal it will jump to a sparatic percentage of like 10-15-20ish% and then it will go right back to 0 on its own if I slowly give it gas I get no reading and at about 2000ish rpm it will cut off and go back to idle old what's going on here and why would if read just fine with the engine off and not read while the engine is running? I switched the tps for a spare and same issue.. I put the stock p72 in and it seems to work it just runs bad obviously do to the injectors and no o2 and such but it seems to rev up just fine. Could I have a bad ecu or jumper harness?
Bump someone must have had this issue before and or be knowledgeable enough to point me in the right direction
I've had this issue before a couple times, and it was simply a bad tps. replace the sensor and see what happens.
i have same problem too! i have a h series and im getting 0% readin as well when car is running.... let me know if you come up with a solution....
