Default bogging issues

88 CRX d16z6. Car idles perfect but as soon as its given gas it bobbles. Only code its given is for a iacv which was replaced an code is still there. Checked an I'm getting no power to the iacv. Break in the wire or possibly bad ecu??

Car catches on fire lol

I would check IACV wires for power at the ecu end, this will determine if it's a faulty wire.

Anything can catch fire lmao.. I haven't bought the car yet. Don't want to unless I know its a easy fix.. I thought a no iacv would cause a rough idle?? Car idles perfect but once ya give it gas it bogs down.. I just want to know in the worst case what would I be looking at?? A whole rewire or?? I assume I could run the 12v iacv wire to a keyed 12v??

best to try what you know! Very hard to say without the car...if may need to get someone to have a look..

Sounds like it's worth checking the tps voltages because it can cause this issue and if it's out you can adjust it as close as you can easily and then try and drive it.

I'm a mechanic but don't know crap about Hondas period. I would hate to buy it an end up dropping tons of cash into it. My most concern is having to rewire the while car..

Clogged fuel filter can cause this too:

Yeah, you should check it with a new wire imo.
