Icon4 94 Civic Si hatch wiring help!

Okay, so I've removed the drivers side harness from the engine bay and labeled everything that I disconnected. Having trouble finding a home for this wire though. Single wire connector, blue/red with brown dots. People have been all over the place with answers but none have proven to be right. Attached are pictures of both ends, the connector itself (which looks like it would plug into the indash fusebox but is the same size or bigger connector than the optional terminals) so probably not for fogs? Also attaching a pic of the tach wire people were also saying it was. Its the yellow connector.

turn on wire for the foglights

As for the blue wire (with yellow connector), I don't believe that's even a Honda connector, unless it's from an OBD0 car.

Both connectors came out of the harness. I unloomed and untaped the harness's. The yellow connector is pinned into a connector on the short harness. The brown connector I'm not sure where it came from. If it was taped up behind the fusebox or what. But if its for the foglight switch, why does the other end have a connector that looks like it would attach to the brake reservoir? (Don't worry it doesn't go there, both of those wires are accounted for)

Those black rubber "bullet" connectors are used in several places such as on the reverse light switch on a manual transmission. I don't have a car with fog lights but that makes sense.

If you look close on this very crappy quality picture (lol), right where the blue tape is on the harness is where that black connector was, pretty much near the driver side ground junction. So perhaps you're right about fogs? Have never seen the back side of a fog switch.

Fog light wiring were standard for these cars, even though it didn't come with them.

The blue wire with the silver bands and the OBD-0 style connector at the end is actually the Tachometer test lead... normally taped to the harness bundle and capped with a black rubber plug/cover. I believe NVturbo is correct about the blue/red wire with the single male spade connector at the end that you are holding... OE fog light wire sub harness junction point. The OE fog light kit would plug into this if you had them... not used if you don't.

I appreciate the help either way guys! Picked up this hatch and it had a bit of a wiring nightmare going on with half the stuff for a sound system and half the stuff for some kind of aftermarket auto door locks and hatch popper. And I've seen multiple open spots on wires so I'm going about heatshrinking and relooming as much as I can and that wire had me stumped. Wasnt sure if it was needed or not.

OMG. BLU/RED is fog light wire. For CDM/USDM Civics, only integrated in 94/95 in the loom.
