rsx problems
hi my name is angel and i have an 02 rsx type s it is lowered and it keeps eating the inner side of the tire i have taken it to get aligned but i still have the same problem what can i do to fix it?
When you take a car for an alignment you should ask for digital/laser measurements before and after the procedure; places that offer this will usually charge around $90. Inner tire wear, seems consistent with negative camber; which can be as a result of either lowering the car or a bent suspension part that may be unable to be seen with the naked eye. To adjust camber on RSX, you'll need to get a "camber adjustment kit".

inner tire wear can mean many things. bad toe adjustment is the #1 cause for it. camber doesn't kill tires, toe kills tires. BUT, camber CAN kill tires depending on your driving habits. even if toe is spot on, doing burnouts with negative camber will destroy the inside edge of the tires very quickly. same goes for if you do a lot of heavy braking at high speed. this would be the #2 cause. #3 cause would be a bad suspension component, allowing slop in the suspension and steering, throwing the toe off while driving.
