Default 1996 Honda Accord

So I have a 1996 Honda Accord. Its starts just fine but when I put it into drive and hit the gas it won't move. I have checked all the fluids and the shift cable already and the atf is still a bright red and the cable linkage is still hook up. Can anyone point me in the right direction on what it might be?

Can you tell if the transmission is going into gear when you put it into drive?

Start engine, allow to warm up. Car should be on a level surface.
Place trans in every gear for a few moments, put it back into Park.
Immediately check fluid level. It should be within the hash marks.
If not within the hash marks, fill until it is. Select every gear again for a few seconds to verify it is charging the circuit.
If it is within the hash marks, does the transmission make a whining sound while the engine is on?
If so it may be that the sump pickup is clogged and the whine is the AT pump cavitating.

How do I check to see is its clogged and what do I need to replace if it is?

If reverse works then the sump is not clogged.
Did you check the fluid level after R going to D4?
Are the shift solenoids connected?
Have you checked for any stored codes?

The solenoids are connected and there is no check engine light to indicate it having a code. Is it possible the solenoids are just bad? Can it still show a code even though the check engine light isn't on?

It would be highly unlikely the solenoids are all bad at the same time.
A code may be stored in the TCU, but if the D4 or CEL lamp are burned out you would never know. If you have access to an OBDII code reader use that to check for any stored codes.

However usually when the transmission doesn't move it is something more serious.

Did you verify fluid level after going from R to any of the Drive range gears?

What is the history of the car?
