problem tuning with neptune basemap
hello ,
i have a ej9 civic with an h22a2 swap ,
i installed a few bits and bobs on it , a aem wideband and a p72 jdm with demon v1.2 ...
i am playing around with it and i cant seem to get it working correctly ...
i started adjusting idle , runs good on 14.7 ,
then i barely touch the pedal taking it up rougly 100 rpm and the wideband goes around 10 ...
allthow the cels are in the same area ,
i thought it was my map sensor at first but i tried an other one and the same ...
could it be ignition auto adjustments playing on me ?
maybe a dodgy h22 basemap ?
any ideas ?

This just after starting the car? What's your ECT at this time? Closed loop off or set properly? Or is this just riiiiight out of the box and loaded into demon? Sooooo many possibilities .
thanks for your fast answer
well i let the car warm up befor adjusting ,
closed loop and wideband option ticked in closed loop , is that correct ?
i used the h22 stock basemap in neptune

does anyone have a clean basemap by any chance ?
what value should the map sensor give with engine off in datalog ?
mine shows something like 300 mbar is this normal ?

Disable closed loop when you first start out. Can you get a screen shot of your closed loop settings and post em here?
Overall, the basemap is just that. A basemap. It will help ya get to where you want to go, then you make your adjustments to where you feel (or your tuner and dyno determine), you want to be.
I know there was NO basemap for mine when I started up, I had to use a P28.. The P06 basemap points you toward an 8v and ugh.. Anywho.. You may have better luck starting off with another map entirely

With the engine off, you are showing "default" settings, don't pay ANY attention to these values with your engine off. With your engine running, you'll probably be anywhere from about 250 Mbar to 399 Mbar.

I have been tuning cell by cell. PAIN IN THE ***, but thorough.. You'll want to set your target a/f first. Go up to tools, then find target a/f. Set that to where you would like to be. For N/A, it is widely accepted that 13.5 is a happy place. Once you have your target a/f set, you're gonna do a LOT of driving and logging and adjusting lol
Closed loop just makes fuel adjustments based on feedback from the O2 sensor. You'll want this particular mode disabled until later, when you get to your actual targets.

Check the MAP pins at the ECU for the voltage reading. If those voltages are different from what you're seeing at the sensor, you have a wiring issue.
i was 2 degrees off ...like 14...
You can, it is just an option for when it is active. It is used in conjunction with a wideband O2 sensor and should certainly be checked when you're running in closed loop.
