Default OEM ITR LSD Into YS1 GS-R? Ring Gear Bolt Pattern?

It's been a loooooong time since I've messed with transmissions, and I'm a bit fuzzy on putting an S80 ITR LSD into a cable YS1 GS-R (from 92-93 GS-R with B17A engine).

I know the LSD will fit in the case after grinding the webbing in the diff housing portion of the case, but my real question:

Will the ITR LSD bolt to the ring gear from the YS1 GS-R?

The cable GS-R tranny has the 4.400 FD, so the teeth count is the same. If I recall correctly though, the diff diameter/bolt pattern on the ITR LSD is different from the cable diff/ring gear.

Can anyone confirm this? Must I have a 94-01 Integra GS-R/ITR ring gear to make this work?

Thanks!

It will not bolt onto the cable GSR ring gear, because it's really just a B16 trans which runs a smaller diff/ring gear. It needs to be a 94-01 GSR ring gear.

As said above, you'll need a B16A/LS ring gear (use the matching countershaft unless the ring gear is NIB).

Hope all is well Tom.

muuhda 4 life.
