Can any help get out of this doubt im trying to buy a lsd for my gsr but i have a question will a itr lsd fit directly to my car or will i have to modify it to fit will a need a itr ring gear. or can i keep the one i have. my motor is a b18c1 obd1 and the tranny is a y80 just if that helps. but if you can help me it will be great.

itr and gsr share the same ring gear.

yes the itr and gsr share ring gears. when u get the case off measure the ring gear inner dia. if it is 117 mm it is a gsr or itr match if not you need to get gsr or itr ring gear and pinion shaft. i have the y 21 and they are not compatible, doing the same swap and having a hella time getting a cheap ring gear and pinion! im on a super tight budget, oh and when you reinstall the case together dont forget to clip the snap ring in before you tighten the case bolts!!!!!

U must have the right ring gear. The non-lsd/b16 have diff amounts of bolt holes & inner diameter as stated above

So keep your eye open for that and also when installing an ITR lsd you must shave the inner tranny case because some of the tabs stick out too far and will hit the lsd (not a big deal to do)
